Beginning the week commencing 25th February 2008 we are introducing a half-day R.S.A (Responsible Service of Alcohol) THHBFB09B Certification.

Responsible Service of Alcohol(RSA) and the Liquor Licensing Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate covers the following subjects:

  • Problems associated with excessive consumption


  • Alcohol and the law


  • Who is responsible?


  • Facts about alcohol


  • Strategies for responsible service


  • Refusal of service

  • Mixology Management Pty Ltd is accredited by the Director of Liquor Licensing, Consumer Affairs Victoria, to deliver and assess Responsible Service of Alcohol workshops.

    Do I Need this Certificate?

    Most employers will require an RSA certificate as a pre-requisite for employment, although it is not compulsory in Victoria.

    Responsible Service of Alcohol(RSA) Course Content:

    • Legal requirements for the sale and service of alcohol in Victoria


    • Harm minimization and 'Duty of Care'


    • Anticipating problems and managing patrons


    • Assess and Monitor the levels of intoxication of patrons


    • Advise patrons on standard drinks and the effects of alcohol

    • Duration: 3 Hour knowledge and awareness course including assessment.

      Certificates: Each participant will receive a Certificate upon successful completion in THHBFB09B - Provide Responsible Service Of Alcohol.
      Course frequency and cost: The Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) runs weekly and starts week commencing 25th February 2008 and costs $89.95
      Pre-Paid: Participants who pre-pay prior to the course will receive their Certificates at the end of the training session.
