Punch de Chevalier
Tall, strong and inspired by the famous Fish House Punch.
This drink was created as an entry for the 2009 Suntory Cup. Merlin makes it with Green Chartreuse, peach liqueur, lemon and cognac, served tall with no mixers at all. Easy to drink, but like any military campaign, dangerous and unpredictable (like the inventor).
Merlin was lucky enough to get selected into the finals of this competition, & fought off many accomplished bartenders to rein supreme and take out the cup. The prize took him on a grand journey around Europe, including another visit to the Chartreuse distillery on his travels.
