White Rum, Lime & Sugar. Refreshing & tart, the perfect Summer drink.

Forget the 80’s. We’re not using a blender. We don’t add fruit. This is the original classic shaken Daiquiri. It was created in Santaigo de Cuba by a miner, Jennings Cox. After a hard day in the mines he simply picked a lime from a nearby tree, squeezed the fresh juice into a glass, adding sugar crushed ice and the local Bacardi Superior Rum and a classic was born. It didn’t reach worldwide fame until Jennings shared one with US Naval Officer Lucius W. Johnson who loved it so much he took the recipe and ingredients around the world with him. We still use Bacardi but ours are shaken and served in a champagne saucer. Simple, and a natural classic.
